Review
This review applies to version 2.4
The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our
informers.
Nebulosity is designed to be a powerful, but simple to use capture and processing application for a wide range of astronomy CCD cameras. It provides powerful tools to make the most out of your images (e.g., Digital Development Processing, traditional alignment/stacking, Drizzle alignment/stacking, Bad Pixel Mapping, LRGB tools, real-time tricolor histograms for color balancing, star tightening via edge detection, adaptive scaling of stacks, Canon CR2/CRW RAW Bayer matrix loading, 32/96-bit accuracy, etc.) |
What's new in version 2.4
- Support for new Canon, Moravian, & Opticstar cameras
- Canon: LiveView support, CR2 capture support, and download speedup
- New blink tool added to Preview tool
- Fine Focus info available to the outside world
- Control over Nebulosity via TCP/IP stack script commands
- Will now remember the gain/offset used for cameras across sessions
- Image manipulation dialogs will now appear wherever you last had one of these positioned |
